~`COSPLAY CONTEST`~
April 26th @ 9pm EST (6pm CST)
Emain Macha Stage
First place: 500,000 Gold
Second place: 250,000 Gold
Third place: One item from miscellaneous prize list.
Judges: Judges will be announced at the time of Event.
Here's how it works:
- Sign in time is @ 8:45pm EST (5:45pm CST) No sign-ups will be allowed after the event starts. So, please be on time!
- You may choose any anime or game character so long as you provide a reference upon request.
- Each contestant will go on the stage one at a time (you will be given a number upon punctual arrival).
- Each player (or group) will have 2 minutes on stage to explain their cosplay, walk around, use gestures fitting of their character and recite quotes if desired.
- You may enter as a group, but by doing so (if you win) you will have to split the prize amongst yourselves.
I will have pre-made checks and will not break them up.
Rules and exclusions:
- Your cosplay must actually have an outfit, no showing up naked (Kewli
).
- Body wear is the only required portion of the outfit for the cosplay – to be dyed as closely as possible.
- Bonus points for accessories in the cosplay if any are available (hat, bracelet, shoes, weapon, misc hand held item)
- Pets and Partners may be summoned ONLY if they fit your cosplay some how.
- Vocaliods are not allowed as a cosplay.
- Mabinogi characters are also not allowed.
- Lewd or unwarranted Cosplay or actions will be cause for disqualification.
Notes for the curious:
- Bonus points may be given if the cosplay is performed with accessories such as hat, bracelet, shoes, weapons etc. Anything that would further enhance the cosplay itself.
- The scoring system will work as follows: Points will be given based on difficulty of cosplay, outfit, performance, accesories and overall WOW factor. So plan carefully and be a one of a kind!
- Anyone showing up for this event late for sign-up, WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE. So please be on time.
Misc Prize List:
- One blue upgrade stone
- Random Color Metal Dye
- Who Knows? (to be announced)
